40 years: Kaldor Public Art Projects

2009 is the 40th anniversary of Christo’s wrapping of Little Bay. It was the very first John Kaldor project and over the years the artists and curators Kaldor brought to Australia marked the most ambitious exposure of Australian audiences to international contemporary art. This exhibition and catalogue celebrates this history and launches its next phase.

Gerd Harry Lybke from Galerie EIGEN+ART talks about the paintings by David Schnell with Jody van den Villaart from Art.sy at the annual Armory Show 2010 which showcases fine contemporary art around the world every year in New York City.

The Armory Show is the United States leading art fair devoted to the most important artworks of the 20th and 21st centuries. In its twelve years, the fair has become an international institution.
