sorry, i didn’t see this question sooner, i am thinking about that, but my studio has a hotel/motel a/c in it and it’s too noisy to record. when it cools down here in arizona for the winter and i don’t have to run it, i certainly will.

    im not sure exactly …
im not sure exactly what it does, but mediums are just for adding to your paints to thin or thicken them, make them dry slower or faster, for glazing, make them shinier, duller, etc etc etc, there’s tons of mediums out there. if your just starting out, use some basic odorless paint thinner or linseed oil. but the most important thing is keep your brushes clean on every stroke, don’t let them get muddy gray.
good luck with your art! ken

    I’ve just started …
I’ve just started painting for the first time recently. I’ve never had any classes so I really don’t know much about painting. I was wondering what is floating medium for? I have some but I don’t know how important it is. Also, I’m not sure how much to use? Is it used to get a better blending of colors?
