the paint I use ” …
the paint I use “Lukas Studio Oils” is very buttery mixes very well together. plus the technique wet on wet I only add mediums when I need to thin my paint to do fine detail or add highlights. if you get all of your paints to thin then you get a muddy mess. hope that helps?

I only watched lesson 3 and 4. I noticed you didn’t use a painting medium to work into your paint. I’m a beginner, and I was wondering… how often are you supposed to use the medium? and what are the contents? i heard 2 parts solvent/thinner and 1 part oil (linseed, poppy, safflower, etc)
