I absolutely adore …
I absolutely adore this discharge method and I can’t wait to try it myself! I’ll probably dedicate a page in my own art journal just to this technique and see what I can create with it.

You could hang a …
You could hang a sample in your window as an experiment. Put a piece of paper over half of it to protect it from the sun so that after a couple of weeks, you have something to compare the exposed side to. Also, using a very low wattage bulb would prolong its life even if prone to fading. There are UV protective coatings that you could try, also.
